I don't read books anymore. Haven't in years. I skim when I look
  at books. Bold print. Pictures. Index. Table of Contents. Go
  straight to what I want, shut the book. Even when I *did* read
  books, I hardly read them left to right, except fiction. I
  usually just dive in, whole book at once, digesting the bits I
  wanted and leaving the fluff behind. And with fiction? Well, I
  haven't read much fiction in a while. There's enough fiction in
  non-fiction to keep me busy tongue emoticon
