He doesn't get a "Get out of religion free" card by using only
one of the definitions of religion tongue emoticon I mean, for
those that agree with him, it does but for everybody else, what
looks like a religious zealot, kinda is, although Sam Harris
isn't really *that* bad compared to Dawkins for example, but
Dawkins makes himself an easy mark and enjoys himself in his
late-life role. "a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes
supreme importance." "consumerism is the new religion" ^ Also
valid definition for religion. tongue emoticon Complain about my
usage at will, but it won't take it away from being a bona-fide
part of the language. It doesn't "lose all its meaning by being
too broad". It's just another one of its meanings, which renders
calling Sam Harris a religious zealot _potentially_ true. Still,
he hasn't much choice in it though, and my portrayal of him
can't be changed either. Such freedom smile emoticon -- [he's
selling books btw and acts the role of a motivational speaker
ala Anthony Robbins for a different audience. Walks like a duck,
quacks like a duck, etc...]
