I'd like to conform. I _really try_ and sometimes I succeed a
little. Honestly, I don't know what the fuss is about being a
non-conformist really. I'm just happy to wake up in the morning,
do and talk about interesting things sometimes. Since I was
little the adults around me said, "There goes Kenny - he beats
to a different drummer". I'd think, "yeah but I play the piano".
-- The way I look at it, if someone want be a poser, they can be
a poser. I think it's awesome when ppl find like-minded people
and join in groups. Being different sucks, honestly. It's REALLY
HARD to find your 'group'. I always find the fatal flaws. It's
not that I'm too good for groups... I just try to be careful how
I align myself because people like to play "sports with
stereotypes"... jock vs nerd, hipster vs conformist, authentic
vs faker... and I'm not much for competition really but for
people that like to, that's fine too. -- Yes - I think that's
what keeps me from over-grouping ppl. I mean I poke fun of
groups CONSTANTLY... but when it comes to people, I believe in
individuals. [if that makes any sense]. That is, no matter how
"hard core" a member of a group is to the _appearance_ of
conformity, if you prick beneath the surface, you find someone
that's just as unique and interesting as i find myself tongue
