Awesome :) yeah the higgs was a shock to me honestly but it
  shows that particle physics is definitely on the right track.*
  Exciting times most definitely. I'm hopeful for quantum
  computers.* I won't be happy until there's a model in production
  though.* To me, it's not really anything until it leaves the lab
  and is used for something. I have that attitude because I've
  witnesses SO MANY empty promises of Science that never made it
  to Engineering and to Technology and to Production. They were
  "hey look what we can do!" and it died there. It takes a long
  time, but I'm willing to wait.* Good stuff keeps coming.
