I wish I could back up my viewpoint with other sources like
  scholar opinions and such, but I can't yet. I suspect if I dug
  around I might find some prominent authority who is known and
  respected in their field already who expresses the same opinion
  but I don't know who or where they are or if they exist. It's
  just how I happen to personally categorize sociohistorical
  movements, including religious movements. I apply them to
  sociohistorical movements that I see around me today as well, as
  if viewing today from the lens of "how the future might see us".
  Still, I don't think it's uniquely my view; I just don't know
  yet who else shares it. Hopefully I find someone who does that I
  can quote. People like quotes from authority figures tongue
  emoticon
