May be true in courtrooms and in the sciences (except some parts
of theoretical physics - they can lean on mathematics as a
stand-in for evidence - lucky them - although eventually their
stuff needs to be tested) \but as logical as your argument is,
people are more swayed by metaphor and hyperbole than logic
and/or evidence. I'd say we live in a world where we must
convince, by whatever means, that we're right. There's many
methods for that and they're used freely wherever you go. Some
for better, some for worse.
