Yeah I'm always thinking Future. Any contact I have with younger
  generations (which is often 'cause I'm 43 and many of the ppl I
  know online are younger - comes with the Timeline thing) - I
  keep that in mind. I ask myself, "What could I say that might
  help today or in the future?" so I try to stay on my toes with a
  person's future in mind. I don't succeed as much as I'd like,
  but I succeed more than I expect. Really listening with all ears
  open seems to be key. But man, I still got a lot more learning
  to do than teaching. I love every minute of it.
