oh cool. I had a professor at Hampshire College (well, I WANTED
HIM as a professor but his classes were always full) was a
topology nut and I'd read the amazing clippings he posted to his
door as I could never get into his classes. [I was going to do
quantum mechanics and wanted the topology and fractal studies.
Just as well though - took child psychology instead and learned
what I wanted on my own through the years without the math
tongue emoticon ] Loved wrapping my brain around the things on
an intuitive level. Folding in particular I find fascinating
even more than torus stuff.
