That's the kid. I liked the show and I'm glad he got a decent
acting career out of it before he lost the 'look' they needed
for that type of thing.
In the show itself, I actually liked Dewey the best. Never quite
caught a break early on, but as the show progressed, you could
see that he was smarter than everybody else in his house and was
quietly succeeding where the rest were failing miserably. I
agree. He was too smug in the movies. In the show, he seemed
genuinely full of angst. It was the angst that was appealing,
although the movies emphasized the cockiness.of his hollywood
persona.
