We started to watch it, each trying to figure out, "What's
  making that horrible noise?", realized it was the national
  anthem, and a couple of hats went off and I joined in the
  last... bit. Five of us stood there in a row for just the few
  seconds the national anthem takes. So, in a way, her horrible
  singing piqued our curiousity, reminded us, "oh yeah, national
  anthem" and hats came off and I stood there ('cause I don't wear
  hats) too."
