A lot of lawyer and doctor stuff is the same way. Fancy
terminology for things that are otherwise easy to explain. Most
things could be explained to a 5th grader. It might take a few
more words but it's perfectly possible to be completely accurate
with simpler language. But complex language in many professions
is job security. I've seen it in the I.T. field - and I've
always been the oddball who refused to talk that way. No
acronyms for me, please. But I've never been the kind of guy who
felt, "There is a proper word for everything, and that is the
word you must use". No - to me, UNDERSTANDING is the most
important thing and if it takes a few more words to describe
something, then do it that way. "
