The more people you deal with - and online is GREAT place to
encounter a lot of people in a very short amount of time - you
start to notice patterned behaviors in others like this.
Then... you start to notice it in yourself.
THAT'S when things get frightening. "I'm part of the problem
aren't I?"
I think an ongoing self-deconstruction and re-construction is
the best way to mitigate forming unwanted stereotyped patterns.
Of course... this _too_ is a stereotyped pattern. So is analytic
reasoning. But the key isn't the adoption of these methods; it's
using them to exclusion.
