Those animations were award-winning and I spent some time going
  through all of them from the designer of the animations' web
  site.. just in awe of it. I watched them without any words,
  without the music... just absorbing it all.

  Then I read about it and it all started clicking into place.

  sewing machines, sergers, and various industrial manufacturing
  processes that followed similar patterns.
