Same here. I gave up on the garden after a few years. Organic
  only was a fail because of the ants. Tried organic only for
  three years staight. Ants always win, no matter how nice the
  garden.. I was able to make them survive longer with some basic
  chemical sprays but even THEN the ants could get them. So,
  picking green was the only way the year after that.
