I'm always doing weird experiments.* This is back in 2002, long
  before [1]#iphone and [2]#android - I found an ancient receipt
  printer (it was ancient even then) and used it as a scrolling
  text thing, about the width of a regular smartphone... before...
  they had smartphones... :P [I got the idea from Palm Pilot - I
  had a Handspring Visor - smartphones based their
  designs/interfaces on them] Part of my obsession with a
  [3]#ThoughtCollector - something I'm still working on.*
  Everything I do online (less and less offline) is related to
  that task.[4]before-smartphones
