"Qualitative Research". I love finding a phrase that describes
  "how I think / how I tend to do things", especially when it's
  been in wide usage, either at present or at some point in the
  past. I've been arguing for qualitative research without even
  knowing it had a name or even that it was really "a thing",
  beyond having an idea that there was this writing style that
  seemed to flow easily from me and that it was related somehow to
  deconstructualism, post modernism and post structuralism,
  involving metaphors mixed both with themselves and with data.
  Yet here it is. It's "a thing". Cool
