If I had a picture from then, it would be 12'x12' fabric cubicle
walls and an ugly old chair that I refused to get rid of.

The bigger office (and nice paycheck) was my reward 'cause when
i was temping, I had the smallest cubicle like this:
  http://www.cubesolutions.com/cubicle_pages/cubicle34_39h3x2.htm-
  and the slowest computer.

I still remember the day the big boss asked who was responsible
for it. I was sitting in my tiny cubicle and heard it from an
  partially open office door.

  "Who's Ken?"
  "The temp"
  "The temp?!"
  "Yeah"
"Why is he still a temp?"

By then I stopped caring about the job and was already taking
college courses to go into education instead, cutting my days to
4 hours a day because temps can do whatever they want, really,
and I still got the job done.

So, it was nice getting hired.
