Good. I'm glad someone wrote that. Besides, just like with
  airplanes that "fly themselves" (autopilot has been around since
  the mid-1950s - marvelous invention) - there will STILL be
  driving instruction. There will *still* be manual over-rides, at
  least until the technology is mature enough to handle every
  conceivable situation. One of the first things they'll tackle is
  an inconceivable amount of failsafes for the equipment itself.
  Failsafe is not that difficult and there will be redundancies
  upon redundancies just like they have with airplanes precisely
  BECAUSE human lives are at stake.
