Someone asked: "*"i feel like i was born with a broken heart, is
  that possible"" Ok: Object permanence.

When we're babies, one of the myths that we learn about the
world is that objects (including people) are still there when
  we're not looking.

  But... that's not always true.

So.. emptiness. The thing that went away didn't come back.

You're facing the oldest lie we ever learn; the very first lie.

And it's a deep deep hurt.   It's the closest thing to something
  that happens after you're born.

Toy gets taken away. You cry. It comes back again. You're happy.
Mom leaves. You cry. Mom comes back. After a while, you feel
safe. Everybody's ok because it'll be there when you're not
  looking.

But sometimes things don't come back. Sometimes people don't
  come back.
