Certain drugs are a big problem though. Heroin is a very
difficult issue in many communities. It hasn't hit ours here
that I'm aware of, but friends up north have been fighting it,
with friends and family members unexpectedly ending up under its
  spell.

The criminalization of drugs seemed to make sense due to its
devastating effects on a community, in the case of opiate abuse
(I don't know about other drugs so much), but when most people
talk about it, then are thinking, "Oh, little ol' pot" and
  forget about the other stuff.

But therapy is a logical course of action to those who have
  functional problems.

Still, it's a wait-and-see. No laws have been passed yet.
