I did NanoWriMo back in 2002. I cheated. I used Dragon Naturally
  Speaking and about 5000 out of the 50,000 words was babble.
  "14,000 people who signed up for NaNoWriMo IV"

  So I guess it would've been 13,999 if I wasn't there. tongue
