They're becoming strong political figures though, I think their
day will come amidsts the cheers of "victory for Science over
Religions Dogma". And.... well... it should be interesting to
see what would happen next. Two countries, one who favors one
scientific interpretation and another that favors a different
scientific interpretation will go to war.
The same would be true for Philosophy though, James. I don't
believe any singular field should have domination.
Specialists should remain advisors. *Appropriate for Kings are
diplomats. Civility both for others of the same ruling class and
also civility towards their own people. I can see no better
ruler.
The rulers are best equipped with specialists from every field
of human knowledge endeavor,*each representing their points of
view and the people they represent.
Ultimately though? Representationalism is also of limited value.
Yet straight democracies run the risk of becoming popularity
contests as they do in democracies.
