I was wrong in my conclusion, but I believe I am correct in my
  assertion that a robot, legally _might_ be considered somewhere
  in the spectrum between a lawnmower and all of its liabilities
  and a child and all of his/her criminal liabilities.
  *I believe it is important to establish where in the spectrum a
  robot should fit, or rather, where it should NOT fit.

  I do not believe a robot should be considered an autonomous
  being with the same rights and privileges and responsibilities
  as an adult human.
