Yes - there's about 3 bumps.* But that's practice.* How many
wires did it go under? :P I'll give an analogy: I play music by
ear. I hear a song and I want to play it on the piano or
whatever. After bumping my head a few times on the wire as it
were; making mistakes and what not, within a few minutes, I get
the song right. It feels like unlocking a door and stepping
through it. In short, the "opening was there"; that is, the
piece exists, just as the space to fit exists for the centipede.
But it's stepping through a doorway that's already present. The
environment engages with the self as the self engages with the
environment. They're not separate but have a relationship. It
sounds weird but our languages weren't designed to describe the
process properly.* Our languages and concepts are the product of
"This does that" rather than "This affords the opportunity for
that". We can say that, but it sounds odd to our ears.
