Words are not magical things with me. I look for underlying
  concepts. You want to call it pragmatism and reject me calling
  it "faith in pragmatism-as-bearer-of-truth" that's fine. But
  when you say pragmatism, after our conversation tonight, I will
  see it as, "faith in pragmatism as bearer of truth" when it
  comes from you. I've learned something of your system that you
  assign truth values to.   Other stuff. I don't know what they
  are yet. I haven't seen them. My eyes stay open. I'm agnostic
  about what I don't know. It's likely we're not so far off from
  each other; the difference is, I don't reject what I haven't
  seen: I just say, "I don't know".
