I should - I just.. I've always found myself careful with
  regards to entering into things that can become obsessions for
  me.* Dune is one of those things that has that power.* I've
  known friends who were VERY Dune.* I'm not criticizing that
  either. It's a fine line I try to walk.* I've loved any kind of
  Time Travel shows/movies.* Started with Doctor Who and the
  Tomorrow People as a boy I'd pick them up, good or bad, and get
  hooked. Last thing I let myself get hooked on was the Stargate
  franchise.* I HAD to watch them all, right to the end of the
  last series. So what I do instead is I get overviews from people
  who are fandom.* I've read many books I've never read and many
  movies I've never seen through the eyes and emotions of others
  who were true fans. I find it works well for me.* I know it
  sounds weird - I mean it's a movie.* It's a set of books.* But I
  know it's the kind of thing that's more than that. Maybe you
  could tell me what's meaningful about Dune to you.* I will learn
  far more that way.
