I was part of a discussion on weird and if we thought we were
weird.* Well I don't know if I'm weird but apparently I'm
abstract. Here's my response: I don't know if I'm weird, but
I've been called abstract. Not sure why. Ok, I kinda know why.
Tonight, my nephew tells me about a show that's new to USA -
Yo-Kai Watch. It's on Disney from Japan and it's about a boy who
can see these creatures. These creatures, who are ghosts but
they're not saying such, are the source of all of the problems
you run into.
The first one he adopts is a cat that was killed by a car and he
causes all car accidents. Part of Japanese ghost folklore but
it's made cute for the cartoon of course. There's one that is
the cause of you having to suddenly go to the bathroom, stuff
like that.
Anyway, I was impressed by it. And he showed me a new song
they're playing called "Gera Gera Po" - REALLY catchy earworm -
comes with a dance - total Japanese marketing machine at work
here. This show WILL be the new Pokemon.
So inspired, I took the original video and made a color ASCII
art version of it.
Not fully done after that, I used a different set of software to
make an outline ASCII art of the video. REALLY abstract.
Is this weird? Maybe. One of the lines in the song is, "Things
go from strange to so much stranger" and so that's what I did.

ascii art of it I made. The outline one is:

up the original
Does this make me weird? I dunno. I just got this earworm of a
song in my head and I wanted to do something with it.
