It's a difference of approach. Consider the difference between
  building a robot and carving a statue out of marble.

  One constructs the pieces until it works.
  The other takes away what isn't part of the statue until what's
  left is the statue.

  I like the apophatic approach because I could take EVERYTHING
  that I believed was "not God" and take it away. "Ok, this isn't
  God. That's not God. The other thing isn't God".

  Then what's left when I've stripped everything away?

  Could what's left, be God?

  Could? yes.

  Is? No idea.
