"a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still"
[1]
http://izquotes.com/quote/360754 appears to be a Samuel
Butler variation.
Is it true?
Good question. I willfully learn and enjoy cognitive dissonance
that I can handle. Yet in many ways, I'm not so different than I
was when I was eight years old.
Did something really change? Assenting to a different choice of
words while retaining the same framework to me is playing with
more or less synonymous things or at least replaceable concepts
structured in the same framework.
So, I don't know yet.
