Generally speaking, I tend towards an embodied cognition view,
which does not separate our minds, our bodies or our
environment.
I don't think it really speaks to our awareness of time per se,
that the pathways are generally an ongoing two-way street as it
were, and considering that we cannot discern any of it with a
complete objectivity, for all intents and purposes, the map is
the territory and the territory is the map so to speak.
We can't navigate a territory without a map, and we continually
generate the map as we go along. In a sense, there *is* no
territory without a map. Without a map, there is no territory.
We are in the midst of it, experiencing, transcribing,
interpreting, reacting, all within the system itself, with no
"outsider point of view" truly available.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right, but I think I get the
gist of what you're referring to. In short, I think you're
speaking of the pragmatics of it. Am I on the right track or?
