That's the word. I got excited when I saw someone interested in
  biology - I was hoping you'd know the name smile emoticon One of
  the things that makes biology a fascinating field to me (from an
  "art of how to do science") is that it seeks uniqueness and
  complexity whereas something like Theoretical Physics seeks
  mathematical simplicity.

  Their approaches are radically different yet they each serve to
  describe the "way of things" for their own fields in a way that
  suits them best.
