Yup that's his site. I don't know how much/how little I believe
  of it now, but at one time, he had my full attention for a few
  years. If nothing else, it helps with a mental grasp of nearly
  impossible things that's workable for our pedestrian purposes.
  [we're not building multibillion dollar machines... and really,
  it's just nice to have SOME kind of grasp on the subject that's
  reasonable].   Yeah. String theory itself is itself running a
  bit dry these days, after a decade of intense research. Some
  theoretical physicists want to break away and allow for
  mathematics-alone-without-evidence to be 'enough' to consider
  theoretical physics a Science... but if they do that.. it won't
  really be a science anymore but more akin to a philosophy of
  some kind.

  Funding has been drying up for string theory and they had a good
  ride with it. But if nothing else, they inspire many with tales
  of mathematical parallel universes and hidden curled up
  dimensions. Bedtime stories but nice ones. And who knows? Maybe
  they're onto something.
