Did he get that job at Google? I'm _really_ behind on the news.
  I remember his Spiritual machines book around 2000 or so, and I
  remember him from back in the 80s with the keyboards and stuff.
  But I read somewhere that he's doing something with Google now
  and I have some friends on the West Coast that go to talks that
  he gives.

  I remember a guy different guy talking about Singularity in the
  early 90s on Usenet and I was involved in a few transhumanism
  forums and stuff, so I was kinda surprised to see it coming up
  again but I get all my news information from headlines on feeds
  these days. My knowledge of current thinking on Singularity is
  based solely upon what people talk about in forums and such.
