I had convertitis to Eastern Orthodoxy for 5 years in my late
  20s - stayed at a monastery for a short bit. Never REALLY
  believed but I loved the complexity and detail of their theology
  and one day I even 'got' the Trinity concept.

  Anyway, got bored after that and went all Mr. Science and now
  I'm just anti-bullshit wherever it is.

  Never got into the scripture thing 'cause I was raised feel-good
  Methodist - they didn't even have a hell... so things like
  scripture quoting debates never made sense to me. Always looks
  like two lawyers screaming across a courtroom to me tongue
  emoticon
