The Ozone Skeptics link was fascinating to me; it's answers for
those who are skeptical about Ozone Layer depletion and goes
through much of the history of the skepticism, while also
explaining why the skepticism is mistaken.

I didn't read it thoroughly; I scanned for highlights. But it
was enough to convince me that I had held mistaken opinions
about Ozone Depletion due to receiving conflicting media
reports/teacher reports/textbook entries in my early education.

Their uncertainty and skepticism stayed with me, as the
  mathematical modelling improved.

In short, I was holding an old opinion.
