Oh I agree. I don't think their opinions merit a greater value
than our own. After all, it's our country and we choose.
Still, it's interesting seeing, for example, documentaries from
the BBC about American Imperialism on the Rise... a perspective
we never hear about because we're on the inside and consider it
normal. That doesn't mean we're wrong for believing it - it's
just interesting to see other perspectives sometimes. that's
interesting; I mean, I get the impression that he was a nutball,
akin to neo-Nazi wannabees but instead of idolizing Nazi Germany
he idolizes the IRA and wanted his own little warzone or
something.
Was he used by them? Well, it's not impossible. But he struck me
as a bit of a loser, kinda sad really. Maybe was somebody
though. Hopefully they piece it together.
