It's a perspective. I'm not looking for truth or accuracy in
  factual reality here.

  I'll try another slant:

It's some unknown period in the future. You're coming at the
planet's systems of information from an alien perspective. You
do not know the history of the planet. You have your own views
on the nature of things that is ENTIRELY foreign to ANYTHING
present among the humans on Earth.

So, you see these two systems side-by-side. They're ancient
systems; ones that nobody believes in anymore among the humans,
because they have far surpassed both of them and now LAUGH at
the ridiculousness of both quantum physics and trinity concepts.

[if you believe in the progress of Science and agree that future
sciences will likely find the current sciences laughable, just
as we find some of 19th century sciences laughable, you will see
  what I mean].

You're an alien historian documenting ancient belief systems on
  Earth.

Does abstracting in this manner help at all?
