well, I dunno. I wasn't thinking of it in those terms per se.

  But there's always been laws. Always been enforcers of laws.

  guess I see the whole legal system/court system/justice
  system/law enforcement/education system/various enforcers of
  societal norms, parenting, entertainment...

  ...all kinda in the same light.
