Yes, I have a similar experience when I encounter a like-mind
from history. It folds the spacetime continuum within myself and
there's singular point of contact - a wormhole.
Still, there's that part of me that always wonders - and I seek
out answers to - *why* does the music of these ideas resonate
with me?
Did a teacher when I was young also play his song?
Were the writers of my favorite movie when I was 8 years old
playing the music I rediscovered later on?
So these are the directions I search for my own answers. So many
kindred spirits along the way and I've been gathering their
names.
They're all my spiritual fathers, Saints of the Church of One
that goes by my name, as it were.
