*A great vitamin combo I discovered through trial and error (and
  probably research) is b12, magnesium and zinc after workouts --
  well .. before going to bed rather.

  Now that I HAVEN'T worked out in about... err... 10 years [I can
  still push a car out of a ditch with one arm and steady body
  even with a crap back - had to do it 6 months ago while
  everybody else was struggling*tongue emoticon*] - I noticed a
  nice benefit to the combination... even just magnesium + zinc
  (standard amounts):

  It works like a tranquilizer. Mild. Anti-anxiety. I actually use
  it before going to the dentist.
