I happened to be somewhat obsessed with it... since I was at
  LEAST in high school and likely before that with Doctor Who and
  stuff. I'm a total nerd about it. You're a nerd about things
  that you're a nerd about and you probably could blow me away
  with knowledge about stuff you're a nerd about that I couldn't
  possibly imagine. I used to think a person's nerd-dom was
  primarily a guy thing 'til I realized that women are nerds about
  stuff equally, just about things that we don't think of as 'nerd
  topics'. smile emoticon
