Self-sufficiency is the norm. Money. Money is a practical
matter.
Practical comes first, then intellectual.
An impractical intellectual who isn't supported by academia must
start a business / get a job, to survive, otherwise, he/she may
find him/herself ostracized. The tide may be changing though.
Internet culture. Gamer culture. So I have hope. It can.
Why?
You can have practical without intellectual.
But there is little room for intellectual without practical.
There shouldn't be but there is.
