  the assumptions behind their operation (Boolean logic, law of
  excluded middle rather than utilizing parallel processing);
  computers are CURRENTLY modeled after the human brain.

  They're modeled after the 19th century conceptualization of the
  brain - that's all ... or, dare I say, computers are modeled
