If nothing else, Freud does a far better job in at least
  ATTEMPTING to describe some of the complexities of relationships
  than Evolutionary theory does. Well, not evolutionary theory per
  se - that's all about how one organism becomes another through
  time and really says nothing about relationships. But rather,
  the people who extrapolate and use evolutionary theory as a
  metaphor for human relationships.

  For them, it's "eat, have sex, kill, protect the one you have
  sex with"
