My mother was a kid in the 1950s. At that time, all the adults
  were saying "comic books encouraged violence in children".

  She laughed. She loved comics and knew it wasn't true.

  So when video games came out in the 1980s, she didn't hesitate
  and she laughed at those who said it made kids violent.

  Now when I see it popping up AGAIN... it's like, "dude, didn't
  we COVER THAT already?"
