I happen to *like* cotton's ability to wick sweat away and work
  as an air condition, rather than having pools of sweat puddle
  and roll.

  Then again, there comes a point where it just doesn't cut it
  anymore, but alas, buck nude is rarely a viable option for me.

  I suppose had I the fashion choice without the social pressure,
  I might go with linen-everything. I'd look a wrinkled mess but
  it's probably the most practical for subtropical weather.
