I'm agnostic, so I can successfully draw ire from both activist
  atheist and activist fundie Christian using the same exact
  sentences :P I have a feeling this guy has the same ability.
  *Needless to say, he's considered a deserter by many in the
  Atheist/Skeptic communities but like he points out, he was never
  even a member. :P His point was, the knee jerk reactiveness of
  the New Atheist community that makes a narrow range of
  stereotypical assumptions rather than engaging in rational
  discourse is why he has no trouble pissing off fellow Atheists.
  He's a Philosopher, an Atheist, a Biologist. He now co-hosts
  Rationally Speaking Podcast, +[1]ted powell*- a quick google of
  his name (you have the same Google as I do and we all do here),
  and you'd see that. Yes, this was a test to prove/disprove the
  reasons stated in his link above (which you all also have access
  to). I believe his point is proven quite nicely in this limited
  sociological experiment. Thank you one and all.
