I play around a tendency towards narcissism and arrogance guised
  in the form of humility. I like to believe I'm humble, but then
  when I claim more humility than another, it just becomes a form
  of weakly veiled arrogance on my part.

  So I do weird little art projects to make fun of myself.

  A few months back, I declared myself President of Earth, when a
  new snazzy scientifically engineered Earth Flag for meeting
  aliens came out.

  My thinking is this: We each declare our opinions, whether about
  others or ourselves, as if we were declaring something True For
  All Of All Times In All Places. "I am this way". "They are that
  way".

  In short, as if I was president of earth. As if my opinion
  mattered. Does it really matter? No. Yet, it also does. So, I
  have fun with it.
