I ask not merely as an academic curiosity either. I've been
  agnostic for a long time. It suits me. If someone wishes to
  consider me a believer, they can do so. If someone wishes to
  consider me a non-believer, they can do so. Neither one fits,
  both fit, either fit, because I'm in the realm of "I don't
  know". I scrutinize things, I am skeptical, even of my own
  processes.

  But considering how similar our thoughts are on so many things,
  this fine point of difference that to me, is between "I'm
  skeptical" to "It's not" is not an easy one to understand, so
  that's why I ask.
