I don't have a problem with atheism as a personal
  belief/nonbelief/whatever funny word-play they choose.

  Myself, I'm agnostic. Like, truly agnostic. I don't know and I
  tend towards Science for some of the better answers for things,
  but I also know of its flaws as well and criticize them it's
  done poorly. Yet I'm not against religious people or anything
  like that; I've personally seen more positive than negative in
  my own life regarding people who are religious,and I consider
  people in political power to be acting politically, not
  religiously.

  Even that top 10 list I put there, I consider misleading because
  I consider most of them to have been political leaders rather
  than religious ... or irreligous... or areligious... leaders.
